Michael with Richard Simmons
Michael Hebranko has gone down in the Guiness World of Records as the man who has lost the most amount of weight in the least amount of time. With the help of weight loss personality Richard Simmons Michael lost 700 pounds in 19 months. In his lifetime Michael has gained and lost over 3,000 pounds.
At the age of 34,Michael weighed his heaviest at 1,100 pounds and almost took his own life. Instead he wrote to Richard Simmons who put Michael in a diet and exercise regime. But once he reached his target weight of 198 pounds,Michael went off the program and his weight shot up to almost 1000 pounds again. Since then Michael has been in and out of rehabs losing and gaining the weight.
Today Michael weighs about 350 pounds and he treats nutrition as a lifestyle change. Michael says dieting didn’t help him because at some point when he went off the diet, the weight came back on. He is much happier in life now and his weight loss has been gradual for the past 2 and 1/2 years. He eats healthy, does whatever exercise he can and his goal is to do better everyday.

He said the people he had hurt most with his weight problem were his wife and son. He never considered gastric bypass surgery as he said the problem was in his head since he is never hungry or full in his stomach. The disease is in his head and that’s where he fights his battle everyday.
At age 55,Michael now lives for his 4-year-old grandson and looks forward to becoming a grandfather for a second time.

Wow! Amazing! So a proper diet with exercise can really help. If I exercise regularly and still consume rice,is it healthy? Will I be able to see any weight loss? Most people tend to stay away from rice when dieting and weight loss is involved.
Regular proper exercise will eventually change our body cells to become more efficient at burning fat. I ate rice (par-boiled) almost on a daily basis but in small portions and still lost weight. Rice is still a staple in my diet.
As long as you expend more calories than you consume you're on your way to a slimmer you.
I am soooo proud and yes surprised that you didn't do the gastric bypass surgery. People as heavy as you want the weight off so bad that they do the surgery just to get it off and then deal with the "like you said"head problem after. I have lost over 100 pounds in about a year and will starve myself just to make sure I don't go up on the scale. I still want the crap and don't know how to stop it. Any advise?
