You are pumped up about starting your weight loss journey and really determined to see it through this time no matter what. You knew it didn’t work for you the last time but this time you are not going to let anything get you down.
So equipped with the ‘same’knowledge you start. After two weeks you weigh yourself and you find out that you lost nothing. You carry on for a month and yet no results. Frustration sets in and you give up. What went wrong again?
Well if the above paragraph describes you there could be one simple explanation –lack of knowledge. You might be thinking “Self discipline is hard enough,now I have to start learning as well!” The answer is yes. If you don’t want to waste your precious effort and time on wrong methods,you are going to have to do some self-education.
I have known people who after doing things the wrong way,come to the conclusion that they simply can’t lose weight no matter what. This is not true of course. If you still think something is wrong,get a medical check to find out if you’re suffering any severe biological condition. But mostly,weight loss is simple science and mathematics. Each one of us might have a different rate of reaction but carry on and the results will come.
Lack of knowledge only leads to frustration which leads to quitting and failure. Make the effort to read as much as you can on nutrition and exercise. Read on a daily basis and research anything that you’re unclear about.
Understanding diet and exercise has been my secret weapon in losing weight. Ask anyone who has successfully lost weight the healthy way,and they will tell you the same thing!

Yes,totally agreed. To get educated,find information about it through internet,books and magazine. Besides that,get networking with people who are on the same track with you through online or by joining aerobics classes or other workout groups. The last option if you are affordable,get yourself a personal trainer to achieve your goal.
