I’m sure we were designed to be lean healthy creatures who had an abundance of energy for an active lifestyle while only preferring to eat food that is as close as possible to nature. Sounds like a faraway dream doesn’t it.
Of course it does. When we have to work under stress for 8 to 10 hours a day,then undergo more stress travelling to and from work for another couple of hours daily and coming home to family responsibilites,we only have time to feel run down at the end of the day.
We can only look and feel the way we are supposed to only when we live the way we should. Unfortunately in the world we live in today,it is becoming almost impossible to live healthy lives.
Progress has become the main reason of regress in terms of weight gain which inevitably leads to health. Due to the lack of time and energy we opt for the easily available shop food and hardly exercise.
The advent of cable tv is forcing us to sit for hours in front of the box as though sitting all day long at the workplace doesn’t constitute for enough sitting in our lives as it is.
At the end of a long tired day of sitting and running around stressed out we tell ourselves that things need to change and then the next day comes and the whole scenario is a repeat.
Are you going to play victim or are you going to take matters into your own hands. The turn your life takes,lies in the steps you take. Procrastinate no more.
