Is It That Difficult To Start Exercising? Is It That Difficult To Start Exercising?

My resounding answer to this is ‘Yes’,‘Yes’and ‘Yes’again.  Even till this day exercising is a daily decision for me.  I wake up and think ‘when should I exercise today’or ‘can I put it off till later’or ‘can I skip today and make up for it tomorrow’.

Apart from those few disgustingly slim and active morning people, the daily chores are plenty enough exercise for us,  even if it means lying on the couch and staring into the idiot box the whole day on a Sunday.

The argument that human beings are born lazy doesn’t add up because of the existence of the disgustingly active people and we can’t blame the genes because then that would mean that the majority of the world’s population has defective genes.

So how did those disgustingly active people get so disgustingly active?  They’re obviously not sharing the secret with us so we’re left to figuring it out ourselves.

My plan of action is to keep doing the exercises and eating healthy as consistently and for as long as I can and hope that it will become an addictive habit.  I’ve had two setbacks in the past 15 months.  One lasted 2 months and the other about a month.  During those times my fitness levels and metabolism went down.

Getting back on track took about 2-3 weeks each time.  So I’m trying to be as regular as I can with my program because starting up again is not easy.  I am sure with continued effort I will one day join the ranks of those disgustingly active people.
