stillstrugglingSometimes I feel people who are just starting on their weight loss journey find it a problem relating to me at this juncture since I’ve come a little way having lost more than 20 kilos.

They probably feel that “shes doesn’t have to go through the struggle anymore,not like us”.  That is simply not true. I want you to know that the struggle is still there for me.  Although I look a lot slimmer in my after pictures there is still a lot of fat to be lost.  You just can’t see it because they are hidden under the clothes.

In actual fact it is harder for me to lose weight now because my body uses less energy compared to when it was carrying all that weight around.  So I have to put in a lot more effort into the workouts and be a lot more careful with what I eat,which is not easy for me.

I also fight the urge to just slack off everyday since people who know me personally keep telling me that I’ve done it,I look good now and I don’t need to lose anymore weight.

But in case they haven’t noticed I’ve set Jillian Michaels (The Biggest Loser Trainer) as my target on the homepage and I can’t be backing out,not now.  I’m at a different stage compared to when I started but the struggle is just as hard and I know that once I hit my target (which I believe I will),it is going to be even harder maintaining it.
