My Improvements In StrengthMy Improvement In Strength

For the most part of my life I’ve been a physically weak person.  Couldn’t stand on my feet for more than 5 minutes without getting exhausted, constantly felt tight all over and was tired all the time.

Then the weight piled on and my conditioned worsened especially after I developed back problems.  It came to a stage where I couldn’t cross my legs or even bend down to tie my own shoelace.

The treatments I went for only offered temporary relief.  When I skipped treatments the stiffness would return.  It was very frustrating especially when the treatments didn’t come cheap.

Now it has been more than one and a half years after I started exercising and dieting.  The exercising part has especially been difficult.  For a long long time it was a herculean effort for me.  Every session would leave me exhausted and unable to do much else.

My back and stiffness problems eased but not too much.  Despite that I’ve steadily increased my workout intensities hoping and believing that one day I will see the rewards healthwise.

Lately after months and months of trudging along I’m noticing a difference.  I can perform a number of tasks with ease and my workout endurance and recovery has improved quite a bit.  I’m not such a grouch who only wants to stay home all the time anymore.

If only I had realised the benefits of a healthy lifestyle much earlier I need not have struggled all these years.  But it’s never too late and this improvement is spurring me to greater heights.
