I Still Don't Like ExercisingI Still Don’t Like Exercising

Just finished 40 mins of cardio and I’m not feeling as good as the trainer in the video says.  I have been exercising for the past one and a half years and am still getting used to the idea.  How long is it going to take before I reach the stage where my body will ask for it,when I can say ‘I can’t wait to exercise!’.

Are we programmed to hate exercise or have we gotten so toxic that the mere mention of anything healthy turns us off.  Daily I think of putting off exercising for the next day.  I’m surprised that I have to go through this internal argument everyday.

The only thing that keeps me from giving up is the dream of becoming a lean machine.  I want to experience what it is to be fit and strong.  To have muscles that will give my body definition and strength.

I haven’t been losing much weight the past couple of months because since I’ve become smaller my body doesn’t use as much calories as it used to.  The only way to burn those calories is to change the way I exercise.

I’ve started one 30-min cardio session in the morning and another session in the evening to boost my metabolism.  Hope I can keep it up.

I just need to lose a few more kilos of fat.  After that I’ll take it easy on the cardio and concentrate on strength more.  But all this is easier said than done of course and I’m still waiting for the day when my body will cry out for exercise on its own.
