Water,Liver and Fat LossWater,Liver and Fat Loss

Water is absolutely underrated as a weight loss tool.  If we realised the effect of water on weight loss we wouldn’t toss it aside so easily.  Manufactured drinks have corrupted our taste buds to an extent where we find plain water simply undrinkable.

Drinking plenty of water helps our kidneys flush out toxins in the body.  When it doesn’t get the required amount of water, the kidneys are unable to carry out its job and depends on the liver for help.

The liver which is a vital organ in our body carries out many important functions.  One of its major role is to convert stored fat into energy through the metabolism of fat.  Unfortunately when the liver has to help the dehydrated kidney with flushing out toxins,it becomes underpowered and less effective at metabolizing fat.

The ideal diet is to eat just enough nutritious calories for minimum maintenance of bodily functions.  To carry out other activities we want the liver to turn to our fat stores for energy,so that we gradually lose weight in fat.

However when the energy is not provided from the fat, because the liver is too busy with other functions,we need to supply this energy through food.  The fat stores then either remain the same or accumulate if we eat too much or the wrong foods.

We see now the importance of water.  It catapults the whole fat burning process.  Learning to drink water is a habit that not only promotes fat loss but also takes care of our main organs especially the liver and kidneys.
